Fort Campbell’s wrestlers failed to reach the medal podium at the Kentucky High School Athletic Association State Wrestling Championship although one came close.
Aydn Laird went 2-2 with his second loss coming in the third consolation round one match before the podium matches.
Laird finishes the season with a record of 37-17.
Keshawn Dixon won a second-round match in the 157-pound class. Dixon’s season record was 37-15.
Jayden Perry at 120 and T.J. Dixon at 150 both went 0-2 on the state tournament’s first day of competition.
