Madisonville-North Hopkins ran its 7th District championship string to 15 Friday night with a 55-46 win over Caldwell County.
The last time the Maroons failed to walk off with the big trophy was 2009.
Both the Maroons and the Tigers will represent the 7th District next week in the 2nd Region tournament at Hopkinsville High School.
