Hollowell homered during Frontier’s 11-3 win over Rend Lake College in the second game of a doubleheader on Saturday.
Hollowell finished the game 2-for-2 with three runs batted in and two runs scored.
Teammate Karlie Bean homered twice in the same game with one of those a grand slam.
Frontier, which lost the first game of the twinbill 4-2, is now 6-4 on the season.
Hollowell, a freshman with the Bobcats, is batting .385 this season at Frontier, which is located in Fairfield, Illinois.
Frontier College competes in Division I of the National Junior College Athletic Association.
Hollowell was a career .467 hitter at Caldwell.
An exceptional defensive centerfielder, Hollowell batted a team-high .475 at the plate last spring as the Lady Tigers went 18-13 and reached the championship game of the 2nd Region tournament.
Hollowell was named honorable mention all-state last season.
