Assistant coach Tom Rooyakkers has been the inspirational leader of the Lyon County Lyons throughout the run to their state championship and an example through his obvious faith. During Sunday’s championship celebration, both were on display again as he addressed the large crowd of Lyon fans. He also pointed to Travis Perry, Brady Shoulders, and Jack Reddick as possibly the greatest trio on one team in Kentucky basketball history.
