The Second Region football officials will be having an organizational meeting for its football football officials for the coming season on Wednesday, April 3 at 6:30 pm at the Caldwell County High School Auditorium.
Jay Davis said the meeting is open to anyone who may be interested in officiating or those who just want to get some information.
Former football players, especially those who have played in the last 5 to 15 years, are encouraged to come to the meeting and become an official.
The meeting should not last longer than an hour.
The shortage of game officials has forced Friday games to be moved to Thursdays and Saturdays and lower level games to be moved or canceled.
