
Christopher McCarley completed the sweep in the throwing events and set a pair of personal bests in the process to pace the Christian County Colonels to a fourth place finish at the Calloway County Lake Invite on Saturday.
McCarley took first place in the shot put, winning by over two feet with a heave of 44 feet, 9.5 inches. He also took first in the discus throw at 134-04.
Christian County was also strong in the middle distance and sprints.
Cayden Cline was second in the 1600-meter run in 4:55.62 and fourth in the 800 meters (2:13.03.)
Michael Webb was third in the 1600-meter run in 4:58.33.
Satona Bailey was third in the 100-meter dash in 11.55 seconds and fifth in the 200 meters in 23.75 seconds.
Kristen Johnson was fourth in the 200-meter dash in 23.46 seconds.
Wyatt Fleming was fifth in the 400 meters in 54.73 seconds.
Kristen Johnson was fifth in the 100-meter dash in 11.65 seconds.
Jermaine Dove was sixth in the 400-meter dash in 55.61 seconds.
Aiden Knepper was 10th in the 3200-meter run with a time of 12:52.04 and finished 15th in the 1600-meter run in 5:42.94.
Jack Long finished in 12th place in the 300-meter hurdles in 57.37 seconds and was 26th place in the 100-meter dash in 13.43 seconds.
Leland Creamer was 16th in the 100-meter dash in 12.81 seconds and 18th in the 200-meter dash in 26.45 seconds.
Joseph Parker was 18th in the 800-meter run in 2:32.73.
Max Ray was 20th in the 400-meter dash in 1:01.91.
The 800-meter relay team of Satona Bailey, Jermaine Dove, Leland Creamer, and Kristen Johnson finished in fifth place in 1:40.46.
The same group finished in second place in the 400-meter relay in 44.85 seconds.
As a team, Christian County’s 87 points were 20 behind third place Hopkinsville and 12 points more than fifth place Bowling Green.
