Rebels Fall to Franklin 13-4 in Florida Debut (w/PHOTOS)

Franklin rapped out 15 hits as the Ohio school took a 13-4 win Monday over the Todd County Central Rebels. The game was Todd Central’s first in the 2024 Fort Walton Beach Bash.

Franklin scored in its first six at-bats of the game. The Rebels fell behind 2-0 after the top of the first and tried to play catchup the rest of the game.

Trailing 4-0, the Rebels got on the board in the bottom of the second. The big hit in the inning for Todd County Central was an RBI double from Ethan Harris.

Franklin responded with two runs in the top of the third and then four in the top of the fourth as the lead grew to 10-2.

Todd County Central cut into the lead with a pair of runs in the bottom of the 4th. Ethan Harris drove in another run with a single and Devin Schutt added a sac fly as the Rebels closed to within 10-4.

Franklin would turn back any thoughts of a comeback by Todd Central with a run in the 5th and two more in the 6th.

Ethan Harris ended the game 2-2 with two RBIs. Hayden Strader was 2-2 with two runs scored. Zach Robinson also had a pair of hits for the Rebels.

Noah Rager gets charged with the loss for Todd County Central. Rager went two innings, giving up five runs on six hits, striking out one and walking two.
