Trigg Lady Wildcats Open Florida Trip by Rolling Past Owensboro (w/PHOTOS)

It was a pretty good way for the Trigg County Lady Wildcats to start their week in the Sunshine State Monday. Tember Oliver pitched a four-hit shutout and the Lady Wildcats pounded out 10 hits as Trigg County rolled past Owensboro 10-0 in six innings at the Florida Softball Beach Bash.

Kady Fuller got the Lady Wildcats on the board early with an RBI single in the bottom of the first.

Trigg County then blew the game open by putting five runs on the board in the bottom of the third. Rylee Hendricks had the big hit in the rally with an RBI double. Brynlee Smock added an RBI single. Smock added another RBI single in the 4th to extend the lead to 7-0.

The Lady Wildcats then closed out the game with three runs in the bottom of the 6th inning. Livia Breckel singled with one out to drive in Addy Holley with the game-ending run.

Brynlee Smock finished 3-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. Livia Breckel was 2-4 with 3 RBIs. Kady Fuller went 2-3 with an RBI.

In the circle, Tember Oliver went all six innings, giving up no runs on four hits, striking out eight while walking two.
