The Todd County Central Lady Rebels had trouble getting their bats going during the opening game of their deep south road trip. The Lady Rebels were limited to just one hit Monday afternoon as they dropped a 9-0 decision at Pace High School.
Pace got the only run it would need in the bottom of the first and then added five more in the second, two in the third, and one more for good measure in the bottom of the 5th.
Naomi Welborn had the Lady Rebels only hit in the game.
Addison Woodall took the loss in the circle for Todd County Central.
Two Pace pitchers combined to throw 19 strikeouts against the Rebels.
The loss was the second in a row for the Lady Rebels. They are set to be in action Tuesday at Milton High School.
