With runners on second and third and no outs in the bottom of the eighth inning on Monday, the Calloway County Lady Lakers elected to walk Christian County slugger Avery Adcock and take their chances with Gracie Harned.
Harned wasted no time making Calloway pay, smacking the first pitch she saw into left field to bring in the game-winning run and improve the Lady Colonels’ record to 6-1.
