A tough trip to Henderson Friday for the tennis teams from Lyon County. Both the Lyons and Lady Lyons fell by 8-1 team scores in matches that provided a good mid-season test for the two teams.
In boys’ play, Henderson County swept the six singles matches and two of the three doubles matches. The win for the Lyons came from their #1 doubles pairing of Jackson Crawford and Zach Radivonyk.
The Henderson County Lady Colonels won 5 of the 6 singles matches and swept all three doubles matches. The Lady Lyons’ win came from #1 singles player Anna Crawford.
