It looks like a former Christian County standout is on his way back to getting on the field in the NFL. According to a story on steelersnow.com, the Pittsburgh Steelers posted a picture on X Wednesday showing Cory Trice Jr. taking part in the Steeler’s offseason training program. The article notes that the workout is Trice’s first confirmed on-field work since tearing his ACL last season.

Trice, who attended Purdue after graduating from Christian County High School, was the Steelers’ seventh-round draft pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Trice was injured last August in training camp and placed on injured reserve the next day, ending his rookie season.

Wednesday was the second day of the Steelers’ in-person preseason conditioning program.

  1. as a true Steelers fan, since the 70’s I hope Cory Trice Jr. is the second starting CB opposite Cb Joey Porter Jr.
