Lyon County senior and Kentucky Mr. Basketball Travis Perry scored 18 points, 12 of them in the second half as the Kentucky All-Stars rallied from a 17-point deficit to pick up a 103-91 win over the Ohio All-Stars Saturday night at Thomas More University.
Perry hit two threes, both in the second half, and connected on 8 of 10 from the free throw line as the Kentucky All-Stars took the win.
Perry was one of several Western Kentucky players on the team. His Lyon County teammate Brady Shoulders finished the night with 8 points. Shoulders scored four in each half for Kentucky.
Bowling Green’s Mason Ritter also scored 8 points. The big man scored six in the first half and two in the second.
Todd County Central’s Jamison Glass and Christian County’s Derrell Bateman were also on the Kentucky team but neither scored in the contest.
Louisville Seneca’s Quel’Ron House led the Kentucky All-Stars with 20 points and took the game MVP award.
