Despite six home runs on Sunday, the Bat Cats fell short in what was an epic showdown between Kentucky and Tennessee baseball.
Kentucky started the weekend with a 5-3 win over Tennessee on Friday night, but dropped the two following games 9-4 & 13-11.
The Wildcats enter the week with a 32-7 record and plenty of opportunities to add to their resume.
Kentucky will have a series with South Carolina this weekend, Arkansas next week and Florida the week after before finishing the season with a series against Vanderbilt.
Sprinkled in-between those series will be stand-alone games against Xavier and Wright State.
