This week’s Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ for the week of April 22 is Christian County High School’s Jordan Turner. Turner was selected based on her performance in the Lady Colonels’ hard-fought 3-1 win over the Trigg County Lady Wildcats on April 22.
Jordan continues to be one of the best pitchers in the 2nd Region this season. She allowed just one unearned run on four hits with nine strikeouts over six innings to earn her sixth win of the season.
The Jersey Mike’s ‘Player of the Game’ is selected each week from one of the five schools in Christian County (Christian County, Hopkinsville, University Heights, Christian County, and Fort Campbell) based on their performance in a big game or event for their team that week.
