
Call it a three-game winning streak for the Todd County Central Lady Rebels. Addison Woodall and Abby Craig combined to throw a five-inning one-hitter while the Todd County Central offense rapped out 11 hits as the Lady Rebels cruised to a 17-1 win at University Heights Academy Monday night.
The game was even at 0-0 after the first inning. Todd Central broke open the game with a 9-run second inning and then sealed the win with six runs in the top of the fifth.
Averie Luckenbill had a big night at the plate for the Lady Rebels. She went 3-3 with 2 RBIs and two runs scored. Jocelyn Mock ended up 2-3 with 2 RBIs and two runs scored. Addison Woodall was also a member of the two-hit club in the game, going 2-3 with 2 RBIs and a run scored.
Woodall got the start and picked up the win in the circle for the Lady Rebels. She went three innings, giving up one run on one hit, striking out seven and walking three. Abby Craig pitched the final two innings, giving up no hits, striking out four and walking one.
UHA’s lone hit in the game came off the bat of Jreanna McKnight.
Todd County Central improves to 11-12, while University Heights falls to 3-7.
