After reinvigorating his basketball career this past season, a former University Heights Academy star is headed off to a recent Final Four team to finish out his collegiate basketball career. KyKy Tandy confirmed to YourSportEdge.Com Thursday that he was headed to Florida Atlantic for his final year of eligibility.
During the 2023-2024 season at Jacksonville State, Tandy averaged 17.8 points and 2.6 rebounds per game. He also shot 38.9 percent from behind the 3-point line for the season.
His outstanding play earned him 1st Team All-Conference USA honors. Tandy was also named to the 2024 NABC Division I All-District Team..
Florida Atlantic, in Boca Raton, reached the 2023 NCAA Final Four and lost on a buzzer-beater to national runner-up San Diego State.
