Oliver Throws Two-Hit Shutout as Lady Wildcats Rout Allen County-Scottsville

Another strong pitching performance from Tember Oliver carried the Trigg County Lady Wildcats to a big win in their opening game of the 2024 Best of the West at Buchanon Park in Bowling Green. Oliver gave up just two hits as her teammates got their bats going for 17 hits in a 10-0 win over Allen County-Scottsville Friday night.

Oliver went the distance striking out five and walking two over her seven innings of work.

Trigg County scored two runs in the top of the first and never looked back. The Ladt Wildcats would score one in the third, two in the fourth, three in the fifth, and two more in the top of the 7th in rolling to the big win.

MaKenna Hendricks and Kady Fuller had huge games for the Lady Wildcats. Hendricks finished 4-5 with two runs scored. Fuller ended up 3-5 with two doubles, a triple and 5 RBIs.

Kiley Slone joined in on the hit parade with a 4-5 effort, driving in a run and scoring a run.

The win improved Trigg County to 15-14 on the season.
