After earning a region doubles championship as a freshman alongside his brother, Caldwell County’s Ryan Hammett turned his attention to singles play and has dominated the region ever since. Hammett won his third straight region title with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over an exhausted Mason Bridgeman of Henderson County on Thursday, coming from behind in the second set to finish off the match.
