Thursday was another solid day of summer basketball action for the Christian County Lady Colonels. The Lady Colonels hit the road to Greenwood for a pair of summertime basketball contests.
In their first game of the day, the Lady Colonels, led by their defensive effort, upended defending 4th Region champion Bowling Green 29-16. Christian County was led by Anaysia Bagwell with 12 points. NeVaeh Day added 8 points.
The second game saw Christian County lead by as many as 20 points before settling in for a 42-36 win over Greenwood. Bagwell and Day led the Lady Colonels with 12 points each. DaNiya Bradley also hit double figures with 10.
