Caldwell County’s 400-meter relay team was named Second Team All-State by the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association.
The team of Avery Wells, Mariah Merritt, Addison Middleton-Mobley, and Haley Dalton finished in third place at the Class 1A State Track and Field Meet in Lexington last month.
Their time was the second-fastest in school history – 51.17 seconds. They just missed the 1995 school record by .27 seconds.
