
The Henderson Flash scored three times without the benefit of a hit in the bottom of the 8th inning to rally for a 5-4 win over the Hoptown Hoppers Thursday night in Henderson.
The Flash entered their final at-bat trailing 4-2 and used an error, two walks, a ground out, and a sac fly to execute their game-winning rally.
Both teams had scored once in the first inning with the Hoppers then adding a run in the top of the second to take a 2-1 lead when Preston Rager hit his second homer of the week.
Henderson tallied a run in the bottom of the 4th to even things back up at 2-2.
The Hoppers moved back in front in the top of the 5th on a ground out from Harrison Waxley.
The Hoppers added a run in the top of the 7th when Brayden Eftink drove in a run with a single to center.
John Kiebler had a big night at the plate for the Hoppers going 4-5 with two runs scored.
Brayden Eftink added two RBIs for Hoptown in the loss.
Eftink also got a no-decision in the start for the Hoppers. He went 6 innings, giving up 2 runs on three hits, and struck out nine.
