The Lyon County Lady Lyons were among the region’s best teams at finding the net during the 2023 soccer season, finishing as the 3rd highest-scoring team in the 2nd Region, behind only Henderson County and University Heights.
As the 2024 season gets underway in just a few weeks, Lyon County will also have the player in the 2nd Region with the longest active scoring streak.
Senior Anna White finished the 2023 season with 31 goals, second on the team behind Alice Smith, who ended up finding the net 58 times. However, when the 2024 season gets rolling, it is White that is in possession of the scoring streak.
Anna White has scored in her last 10 matches for the Lady Lyons. The last match she did not find the net was in a 6-1 loss to Madisonville-North Hopkins back on September 9, 2023. Since that match, White has found the net at least once in each Lady Lyon contest.

White will get the chance to extend the scoring streak on August 12, when the Lady Lyons open the 2024 soccer season against Union County at Lee S. Jones Park.
