A strong showing in Sunday’s final round helped Emma Talley record her first Top 10 finish of the 2024 golf season.
Talley shot a 4-under-par 68 to finish in a tie for 10th place at the Hartford Healthcare Women’s Championship in Milford, Connecticut.
That followed rounds of 71 and 71 on Friday and Saturday in the first two rounds of the Epson Tour event.
Talley’s 6-under par total earned her $5,072.
The Caldwell County grad had six birdies in her final round on Sunday but also carded a pair of bogeys.
Talley was one of four players to finish 54 holes at 6-under.
Talley is playing a split schedule this season with events on both the LPGA Tour and the Epson Tour, which is the qualifying circuit for the LPGA.
Talley is back on the big tour this week when she plays in the Dana Open in Sylvania, Ohio. That tournament begins Thursday and runs through Sunday.
It will be the seventh straight year that Talley has played in that event and the eighth time total.
