A pair of Hoptown Hopper pitchers made the 2024 All OVL Team list released on Thursday. The Paducah Chiefs led the way with five players named to the team nominated and elected by the OVL head coaches.
For the Hoppers, Lincoln Memorial University sophomore Payton Armour and Hanover College’s Dalton Sisson were honored. The duo comprised half of the squad’s pitchers, joined by the Henderson Flash’s Logan Haslem and the Chiefs’ Conner Preisel.
Also making the list for the Chiefs were catcher Luke Dymond, infielder Kyle Hayes, outfielder Parker Price, and utility player Will Gibbs.
Rounding out the infielders were the Madisonville Miners’ Fred Fernandez and Jace Parnin, along with Henderson’s Logan Lacey and Tyson LeBlanc.
Madisonville’s Nazhir Bergen and Henderson’s Dan Dewees made the list of outfielders, and designated hitter Charlie Ferbet of the Fulton Railroaders was also named.
Additional award winners, including the 2024 Cubb Stokes and Gordon Guess Awards, will be announced after the conclusion of the regular season.
