Storm Golfers Play at Daviess County Invitational

Just a day after competing in the boys golf Kentucky 2A sectional in Murray, the Hopkins Central Storm was back on the golf course Friday. This time, it was the course at Ben Hawes State Park for the Daviess County Invitational.

The Storm finished their round at the event with a team score of 404. That scored placed them 22nd for the day.

Owensboro took team honors with a score of 290. Marshall County finished second at 299.

The top individual performance for Central came from Jaxson Miller, who finished his round with a 93.

Owensboro’s Nolan Warren took medalist honors with a round of 68. Grant Broughton, of Daviess County, and Landon Hunt, of McCracken County, tied at 69 with Broughton winning 2nd place on the tie-breaker.
