
Playing on the course that will host the championship of the KHSAA State Tournament next month, Todd County Central’s Noah Roger finished in a tie for 49th place Monday at the Greenwood Gator Invitational at the Bowling Green Country Club.
Rager endured a brutal first eight holes and finished his round at 14-over par for an 86.
He bogeyed three of the first four holes and then followed with three straight double-bogeys to go out with a 47.
After another double on No. 10, Rager settled down to shoot 1-over par for his final eight holes. He birdied the par 4 15th hole and finished his round with a birdie on the 18th hole.
Bethlehem’s Nick Osborne shot even par to win the event, defeating Paducah Tilghman’s Evan Hack by one shot.
