The Lyon County Lyons and Lady Lyons were back on the links Tuesday taking on Graves County. The matches were tight with Graves County winning in both the boys and the girls team matches by identical 176 to 186 scores.
Graves County boys were lead by Maddux O’Quinn with a 3 under round of 33, followed by Jack Paul’s round of 41. Lyon County’s low round went to Carson Collins who carded a 43, with brother Cooper posting a 44.
Graves County girls were led by 7th grader Emlie Miller, who shot a 2 under round of 34, thanks to a chip in on the last hole. She was followed by Roxy Wilson round of 43. The Lady Lyons low round went to Lilly Perry with a 43, followed by Brenna Breitrick’s 44, Jenna Coursey 45, and Carmen Phillips 54.
Both the Lyon County Lyons and Lady Lyons will compete in the Region 2 Class A tournament on Thursday at Drake Creek.
