Maroons Tune Up for Daviess by Handling Hopkinsville 8-0

The Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons came out, took care of business, and headed to the house Monday evening. The Maroons improved to 3-0 on the season with a big 8-0 win over the Hopkinsville Tigers. The match ended at the half due to the 8-goal rule.

Five different Maroons found the net in the match. Logan Terry and Eli Redpath led the way for Madisonville. Redpath finished with three goals while Terry added two.

Redpath and Terry also added two goals apiece for the Maroons.

Noah Mays, Dru Lile, and Kyle Yates each found the net once.

The Maroon defense limited Hopkinsville to just one shot on goal for the night.

Madisonville-North Hopkins (3-0) faces a big challenge Tuesday night as the Maroons go on the road to face Daviess County.

Hopkinsville (2-2) will host Hopkins County Central on Thursday.
