Lady Panthers Finish Third at Christian County Season Opener (w/PHOTOS)

The Dawson Springs Lady Panthers opened the 2024 cross country season with a third place finish at Saturday’s Christian County Season Opener in Hopkinsville.

The Lady Panthers saw the Swatzell sisters finish in the first 11 with two more in the first 21 runners.

Ashtyn Swatzell was ninth in a time of 24:17 over the 3.1-mile course, while Baylee Swatzell was 11^th in 25:58.

Hailey Oldham placed 20^th in 27:47, and Alyssa Allison was 21^st in 27:47.

Madeline Oldham was 37^th in 36:01.

Dawson Springs’ team score of 63 was ten behind second place Clarksville Northwest. Hopkinsville took first place with a score of 36.
