A tough night on the pitch for the Hopkinsville Tigers Wednesday evening at the Stadium of Champions. The Tigers hosted Henderson County in what turned out to be a quick trip south for the Colonels.
Henderson scored early and often in this one taking a 10-0 win over the Tigers. The match ended at halftime due to the 8-goal rule.
The loss extended the Tigers losing streak to four straight. It marked the third time that Hopkinsvivlle has been shut out so far this season.
The Tigers will get the chance to get back on the right footing this weekend as they host the annual Boots and Butts event at the Stadium of Champions.
Hopkinsville (2-5) will take on the Danville Admirals at 11am and the the Franklin County Flyers at 3pm.
