Not only are our high school teams around the area outstanding on the field of competition, many of them are outstanding in their school and in their communities as well. Those are the teams that are at the top of the list, or an ‘A-Team’ so to say. In this case, the Chick-fil-A ‘A-Team’.

Teams that exhibit great core values like accountability, growth, respect to others, quality, and service.

Today, we want to spotlight the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroon football team. Not only do they work hard on the football field, but they are also great examples of providing service in their school community.

Recently, the Maroon football team and staff were involved in helping the entire school district get ready for the 2024-2025 school year. The players and coaches loaded and unloaded school supplies for the Family Resource Youth Service Centers in Hopkins County.

The primary goal of the Family Resource Youth Service Centers is to remove non-academic barriers to learning as a means to enhance student academic success. Each center offers programs and services determined by the needs of their population.

The Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons football team, on the field and off, is certainly worthy of Chick-fil-A ‘A-Team’ status.
