The Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons will head into the long holiday weekend with a little something to celebrate. The Lady Maroons held Apollo without a shot on goal for the night Thursday as the cruised to an 8-0 win pn their home field.
For the night, Madisonville-North Hopkins outshot Apollo 25 to 0. The Lady Maroons had 13 corner kicks.
Five different Lady Maroons found the net. Madison Hill finished with 3 goals and 3 assists, Kailey Barbe added 2 goals and 1 assist.
McKinley Wilson, Macy Wright, and Lillian Patterson added one goal each.
Taylor Barber added two assists.
The Lady Maroons move to 4-2-1 for the season. They are set to be back in action Tuesday when they travel across county to take on the Hopkins County Central Lady Storm in a huge 7th District battle.
