Last season, the Trigg County Lady Wildcats rolled to a big 6-0 win over the Owensboro Lady Red Devils in the Lady Colonel Classic at the Stadium of Champions. Things were a little bit different Wednesday night at Shifley Park in Owensboro.
Owensboro scored two second half goals to come from behind and pull out a 2-2 draw with the Lady Wildcats. The tying goal came with just 8 minutes left in the match.
The tie moves Trigg County’s record to 3-3-1 for the season.
The Lady Wildcats now get ready for a big district contest Friday night as they host Lyon County at the Trigg County Recreation Complex.
Both teams are currently 1-0 in 5th District play with both having wins over the Crittenden County Lady Rockets.
