Just two shots separated the top two teams in a tri-match at Princeton Golf Club on Tuesday.
Caldwell County’s Collin Whittington claimed medalist honors with a 2-over-par 38, but Livingston Central won the team competition 172-174.
Heritage Christian Academy was third at 204.
Livingston’s Ty Williams was just one shot behind Whittington. Teammate Jackson Duncan finished third individually with a 42.
Cruz Egbert shot a 43 to lead HCA.
Other scores from Caldwell saw Landon Mitchell shoot a 44, Cole Wyatt 45 and Scott Cortner 47. Lukas Harper had a 59 and Jacob Rea 60.
For Livingston, Clay Calendar and Logan Wring each carded rounds of 45. Mason Hargrove shot 46.
For Heritage Christian, Carson Powell shot a 45, Parker Carroll 56, Hunter Strader 60 and Sawyer Lixey 63.
Tuesday’s competition also included three girls.
Taylor Leahy shot 51 and Reese Palmer 63 for Livingston.
Caldwell’s Marlye Harper shot 64.
