Allie Sandifer shot the low score at a three-team golf match at Western Hills Golf Course on Thursday.
The University Heights Academy freshman shot a 42 over nine holes to edge teammate Campbell Lindsey by one shot. UHA’s Caroline Tucker shot a 48 to finish in third place.
Christian County’s Alyse Ezell shot a career-best 49 to finish in fourth place. Allie Ezell shot a 60 and Anslee West added a 63 for the Lady Colonels.
Hopkins County Central had two golfers compete in the match. Macy Cotton shot a 51 and Mady Kate Brown carded a 62.
The high school golf season has less than two weeks remaining before the Region 2 Golf Tournament on Sept. 25 at the Pearl Club in Owensboro.
