Trojans Continue Soccer Winning Streak Over Lyon County

The struggle to score goals continues to be a serious issue for the Lyon County Lyons. The Lyons were shutout for the fifth time this season Tuesday night as they dropped an 8-0 decision on the road at Webster County.

The game ended at the half due to the 8-goal rule.

The win was the 11th straight in the series for the Trojans. The last Lyon County win came back on September 22, 2015 when the Lyons routed the Trojans 10-1.

For Webster County, Tuesday night’s win was the fourth in their last six matches.

Kveon Cain had 8 saves in goal for the Lyons.

Lyon County (1-8–0) gets back to action Thursday hosting Trigg County in a 5th District battle at Lee S. Jones Park.
