
Playing for the final time before heading to Louisville to face Brown in the All “A” State Tournament on Saturday, the Todd County Central Lady Rebels failed to find the back of the net on Tuesday in a 4-0 loss to hosts Franklin-Simpson.
The Lady Wildcats posted their third straight shutout victory and sixth win in a row to improve to 10-2 and stay perfect in the 13th District. Todd Central slipped to 2-7-1, 1-4 in district play.
Addy McKinney led Franklin-Simpson with a pair of goals and an assist, and Kaylee Barrow scored one and set up another. Lily Tyree also found the back of the net and MacKenzie Davidson added an assist.
Madison Slate made three saves and Cecilia Huggins had two stops to combine for the Lady Wildcats’ eighth shutout of the season.
