Make it 13 straight wins for the University Heights Academy Lady Blazers against 8th District soccer competition. The latest win in that streak came Wednesday night as the Lady Blazers picked up a 7-2 win on the road at Fort Campbell.

The last loss to a district opponent for the Lady Blazers was back in the district championship match in 2021 when UHA dropped a 2-0 decision to the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers.

Fort Campbell got a score just over six minutes into the second half that cut the lead to 3-1.

The Lady Blazers came right back less than two minutes later when Audrey Perry drilled the penalty kick after the Lady Falcons were called for a handball in the box, and UHA pushed the lead back out to three goals at 4-1.

The Lady Blazers scored again at 56:17 when Kendall Hancock found a loose ball off a corner kick right in front of the goal and put it into the net to move the lead out to 5-1.

The Lady Falcons momentarily stemmed the tide with a goal at 59:16 to trim the lead to 5-2.

UHA closed things out with a pair of goals over the final 20 minutes. Kendall Hancock got the Lady Blazers’ second hat trick of the night, scoring off a pass from Audrey Perry at 61:10.
