Campbell Lindsey joined her sister Conlee as qualifiers for next week’s state first round following their rounds at Wednesday’s Region 2 Tournament.

Conlee had a hiccup at the turn with consecutive double bogeys but finished strong with a 37 on the back nine for a score of 78. Her third-place finish is her third straight top-five finish at the region tourney and fourth straight in the top 10.

Campbell shot a 93 to finish tied for 15th place and received one of the 10 at-large bids for next week’s state first round at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club.

Breckinridge County’s Adelynn Moorman shot a 5-over par 77 to win the region title by one shot over Daviess County’s Claire Reynolds and Conlee Lindsey.

All four UHA golfers finished in the top 25 at the Pearl Club outside of Owensboro on Wednesday.

Allie Sandifer shot a 101 to finish in 24th place, and Caroline Tucker tied for 25th place with a 102.

As a team, the Lady Blazers finished in third place with 374 points. Daviess County won the region championship with a score of 319. Henderson County was second with 359.
