Colonels Close Out Regular Season with Win at Lyon County

The Christian County Colonels will head into the postseason on a three-match winning streak. The Colonels closed out the regular season Thursday night with an 8-0 win on the road at Lyon County.

Seven different Colonels scored in the match, which the Colonels controlled from the beginning.

Alex Hale led the Christian County attack with two goals.

Christian Lopez, Zack Dawes, Noah Davis, Zamien Matlock, Leland Creamer, and R.J. Nolte, all added one goal each for the Colonels in the win.

Christian County will head into the 8th District tournament with an 11-6 record. The Colonels will square off against the Hopkinsville Tigers Tuesday night at University Heights.

Lyon County closes out the regular season at 1-12-0 and will take on Trigg County in the 5th District championship match Monday night.
