Caldwell County senior Collin Whittington played his final high school round of golf Wednesday at the Bowling Green Country Club. He finished tied for 66th place and was the first Caldwell golfer in 21 years to play at the state level.
A late start to the season didn’t detract from him being able to put together top-10 finishes at the region and first-round state competitions.
