The schedule for the 8th District volleyball tournament is in place. The tournament gets underway Monday night at University Heights Academy.
Monday night sees the #4 seed Fort Campbell taking on #5 seed Hopkinsville. The Lady Falcons won both matches between the two teams this season in straight sets. The match is set for 5:30pm.
Action resumes Tuesday night as the winner of the match between Fort Campbell and Hopkinsville will advance on to take on top-seeded Christian County. The Lady Colonels did not lose a set to either team in the regular season. Match is slated for a 5:30pm start.
The second semifinal Tuesday night will find #2 seed Heritage Christian Academy taking on University Heights Academy. The two teams split their regular season matches with HCA winning in four sets on their home court and the Lady Blazers winning in five sets in Blazer Gym.
The 8th District championship match is set for 6:00pm next Thursday night.
