
The Logan County Lady Cougars continue to maintain their vise-like grip on the 13th District championship. The Lady Cougars picked up another title Tuesday night by turning back the Todd County Central Lady Rebels in straight sets at Logan County High School.
The Lady Rebels made Logan County work for it in the opening set of the night, pushing it right to the very end before the Lady Cougars took the set 25 to 22.
The second and third sets were all Lady Cougars.
Logan County won the second set 25 to 11 to go up two sets to none. The Lady Cougars then closed out the championship by winning the third set 25 to 14 to close out the match three sets to none.
Allyssa Wofford let the Lady Rebel attack with 9 kills. Ariana Hudson added three more.
Shelby Holderman had another big effort for the Lady Rebels with 13 assists.
Todd County Central falls to 18-17 for the season. They will advance on to the 4th Region volleyball tournament as the 13th District runner-up.
Three Lady Rebels were named All-District. They are Allyssa Wofford, Chloe Collins, and Aubri Penick.
