Kentucky basketball reached the century mark for the second game in a row to start their season as they knocked off Bucknell, 100-72, on Saturday afternoon at Rupp Arena.
The Wildcats are just two games into a long season, but head coach Mark Pope hasn’t wasted any time putting together what appears to be an incredibly sound offense.
Through two games, Kentucky is shooting over 53% from the floor and 40% from three-point range while assisting on over 68% of their made baskets.
Big Blue Nation is watching an offense that’s unselfish and thrives on moving the basketball, which makes for a terrific watch.
Kentucky’s next challenge will be their first “real” test of the season as they head to “Catlanta” on Tuesday for a matchup against the Duke Blue Devils in the State Farm Champions Classic.
The No. 23 Wildcats and No. 7 Blue Devils will be the second game of the evening, scheduled to start at 9 PM ET or shortly after the conclusion of No. 1 Kansas and Michigan State.
