In just its second year of taking to the lanes, the bowling program at Heritage Christian Academy is making some big strides. Bowlers from HCA were among those competing over the weekend in the Early Season Region 1 tournament at Graves County.
Heritage finished the day in 10th place for the event.
The top bowler for the Warriors on the day was Cameron Oesch. Oesch placed 17th out of 80 bowlers at the tournament and rolled a high game of 222. He also had games of 168 and 171.
Sisters Alaynda Windle and Braelyn picked up where they left off at the end of last season. Alayna finished 12th and had a high game of 191 while Braelyn finished 14th and had a high game of 172.
HCA had a score of 1918 in the three game series and then an 874 in the baker rounds for a final score of 2792. Last season, HCA’s high baker game was 127. Saturday at Graves County, the Warriors averaged 147 in the bakers.
The Heritage Christian bowling team will be back in action December 14.
