
The Caldwell County Tigers finished up the preseason portion of their schedule Friday night, but suffered a 67-40 setback at Carlisle County.
The host Comets jumped out to a 24-7 lead after one quarter and led 33-20 at halftime.
Caldwell just could never get on track offensively and did not have anyone score in double figures.
Cade Rowland led the way with nine points while Ari Wells had eight and Collin Whittington seven.
Jack Roach scored six points, Luke Parker five, Mitchell Phelps three and Jaydarius Wilson two.
Caldwell’s guys wil tip off the new season on Dec. 2 with a trip to Murray High School.
Caldwell will play its first home game on Dec. 6 against Hopkinsville.
