With Madisonville-North Hopkins and Hopkins County Central knotted 72-72 in their rivalry game Thursday night, Kanyon Johnson went to work for the Maroons.
Johnson’s driving layup with 7.1 seconds to play proved to be the game-winner, as Madisonville won the 7th District matchup 74-72.
