If Lyon County’s girls were sluggish because of the early start time, you sure couldn’t tell it.

The Lady Lyons opened the game with a 17-3 run and went on to rout Massac County (Illinois) 73-36 Saturday afternoon in the 2024 Holiday Hoopla Classic at McCracken County.

The game was the first of six Saturday at Strawberry Hills Pharmacy Arena in West Paducah and tipped off at 12:30 p.m.

However, Lyon showed no ill effects of the early start, leading 24-11 after after one quarter and 46-18 at halftime.
