A big day for the host Christian County Colonels Saturday at the 2024 Christian County Invitational wrestling tournament. The Colonels picked up the team championship and two individual first place finishes in one of the area’s top wrestling events of the regular season.
Led by two first place finishes and three second place finishes, Christian County took the team honors with 211 points. Fort Campbell was second with 190 points. Rossview finished third and Daviess County was fourth.
Individually, Anthony Velasco took 1st place in the 113 lb weight class and Dane Miller won 1st place in the 144 lb division.
